Reset button

My Playstation 2 (version 9) has recently desided to start acting itself. When I turn the power on the red light on the reset button turns on red. When I press this to power up my PS2, it turns green for a couple of seconds then goes back to red.
I`m wondering if this is
A/ A faulty fuse on the mainboard, if so, which one?
or
B/ Something more sinister
Also does anyone know where I can purchase PS2 fuses from?

Where did you get a diagram for the PS2? Would be a good resource for other users with Ps2 problems.
Would you mind sharing it?
