i like a idiot took my playstation2 apart completely to try to install a modchip and anyway i got the wrong chip after already taking it all apart nowwwwwwww i cant get it back together the little ribbon connectors are giving me hell i know where they all connect but just cant get them hooked up again i get one end in and the other end pops out,any special tools needed to put them in or any ideas would sure love any tips or help

If you could get a reaaaly thin bird-beak plier, or some good tweezers, you should be ok. As long as you know what goes where, all is good. If the ribbon-cables giving you trouble are the ones going to the right side of the PS2 (opposite side from the power supply) then you need to ensure that all else is re-assembled. Then use the plier/tweezer and place the ribbon-cables back in. Be careful, because they can be a pain. Hope it helps.
