BUMP!!! :( me too with this prob...... i checked all connections and the silver ribbon with a multimeter and it looks good.... but it sits with LED on red and the buttons dont work.... i opened it to clean it... something i do every few months..... anywho... i didn't mean to hijack your post..... .....
