Obviously you have more detailed knowledge about the PS2 than me. All I did was to re-align the cd drive after a fall :-)

Since you have replaced the la6508 chip and it didn't help. Could it be the control circuit of he chip that may be broken?

Sorry, maybe khat17 has a word to add....

This sounds like a fault and not just incorrectly connected plasma. It could be either the plasma or the tuner box. Does the plasma have any direct inputs (for example PC or Component) so you can deduce whether it is the tuner box or the plasma it self? Do you have a friend with same tuner box and/o...

Being an espresso addict myself, I know a fellow espresso addict when I hear one

Good work-around but all that tamping and tight fitting must be hard work.

Hello Susan and welcome to the forum. It sounds like you are a seasoned Silvia user because all the things I wanted to suggest you to try... you have already tried! One more thing I can think of must be that the water is not going through the puck of coffee but instead around it. Has the portafilter...

1. Did this start recently or have you never had a picture?

2. Is it a specific input not working or all?

3. What are you trying to connect to the plasma and on what input (scart, component, composite, s-video)

Where did you get a diagram for the PS2? Would be a good resource for other users with Ps2 problems.

Would you mind sharing it?

Sounds like a component failure that is discovered during the PS2 start-up diagnostics.

From Linksys support themselves: The AutoDetect LAN DHCP Server option on the WAG54G v2 router is used when there is another DHCP server present on the LAN aside from the router itself. When this option is enabled, the router will automatically try to locate another DHCP server on the LAN. If it see...

Looks correct!

Did you reboot your WAG? If it still doesn't work you may have a faulty WAG/bios.

I have not heard of a similar bug before. Sometimes a device may have multiple MAC addresses. To make sure I enter a MAC correctly I usually follow this procedure: 1. Select Allow all and connect with your device (laptop) 2. View list of connected MAC addresses 3. Copy an paste into restricted MAC a...
